Just not sure what the hell is going on with those squares, I was pushing the SSS settings and got some great result, but what the hell is Clarisse doing (3.6 SP4)? Anyway, definitely getting some nice skin action going. :)
Actually this could work for one of my characters -hmm interesting.

playing around with a simpler shader (very simple)
also the 3D view looks better than the rendered view, see below.
